MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheet and is often refered to as a Safety Data Sheet. It is a technical and administrative information sheet and is designed to provide the correct information about procedures in an occupational setting.

Who are MSDS's for?

MSDS's are intended for:-
Employees who may be occupationally exposed to the chemical or substance at work.
Employers who need to know the correct storage methods and any required protection for employees.
Emergency personnel such as medical and fire fighting.

MSDS's are not meant for the general public/consumer.
An MSDS focuses on any potential hazards, conditions to avoid and accidential release (especially large quantities), when working with the substance in an occupational setting. For example, an MSDS for a tin of household polish is not particularly relevant to someone who only uses it once a week, but is important for an employee filling polish into that tin for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Who do we supply MSDS 's to?

We supply a paper copy of the MSDS to our trade customers with their first order, for their H & S file and retention. If an MSDS is updated we will supply a new copy. We have no obligation under the regulations to supply MSDS to the general public/consumer. We do however make available MSDS's for the Zest-it Product Range in PDF format as shown below.

These MSDS's are hosted on a secure server installed with antivirus, please use these for your own safety's sake - not ones that have been altered, adulterated and abused on other parts of the internet.
